CUNY faculty, staff, and students can apply here for access to the Lab's tools, or ask for help with an existing account. One application covers the chat sandbox, API keys, and the studios.

The chat sandbox for conversations with AI models
API keys you create and manage for the Lab's model endpoint
Agent Studio and Site Studio for research and publishing work
Transcription, image description, and document OCR tools
A monthly spending limit on model use, shown on your Model Access page

Invitation

After a class is approved, its organizers sign in with CUNY Login and share an invitation link. Students use the link to claim a spot.

Access

Individual members and class participants use the same tools through the Tools page. Class access runs for the approved course dates.
